Support Us
We exist because of our volunteers and supporters. Perhaps you've grown up the water and want tamariki to do the same, safely. Perhaps you have awesome skills and want to give back to community.
Or maybe you are an organisation who wants to strengthen kaupapa Māori based organisations who build our young people up to be confident, resilient and caring. That's us.
Come and visit us and see the deep, long-lasting impact that Te Ara Moana makes on the confidence and futures of local Porirua tamariki.
Volunteer
-
Are you good at engaging with kids, are confident on the water, and can support our classes?
-
Are you our next bus driver? We need relieving bus drivers from time to time.
-
Are you a handy person who knows how to maintain small boats?
-
Would you like to contribute to community and be welcomed onto our governing board?
-
Do you have funding application and administration skills?
We would LOVE to hear from you! You will be rewarded with seeing tamariki thrive. Please email us.

FINANCIALLY SUPPORT US
Our services are free so that tamariki misses out. This includes not charging schools so they can spend their funds on their priorities. So we must raise all our funds. This is extremely challenging, even more than before. If you can give, please do. You get a 33% tax rebate with any donation.
