We use a teaching methodology called TPSR - Teaching Physical and Social Responsibility.

TPSR uses physical activity (in our case on the water,) as a way to teach students a model of personal and social responsibility.  This paper written by Don Hellison explains TPSR in detail

We hold a Specified Limits Permit issued by MNZ. That means the Director, MNZ has approved our operating plan which we submitted to them. The plan includes details of where we operate, our vessels, communications, training and certification held by our instructors, maintenance schedules for our equipment, operation procedures, emergency plans and our hazards register.

We use the FLASH risk rating system to assess risks that may be encountered in our activities. This paper, written by Dr Grant Davidson explains the system in detail.

We are members of Yachting New Zealand. This link tells you about our membership.
